In May, the motorcycles enjoyed rapid growth on yearly basis. This month, the production and sales reached 1,513,000 and 1,498,000 units, up 1.3% and 1.9% than that of last month. Comparing with last May, the production and sales were up 6.2% and 7.2%. The yearly growth rates enlarged 1.1 percentage points and 2.8 percentage points. To be specific, the production and sales of two-wheeled reached 1,335,000 and 1,320,000 units, up 9.9% and 11.4% year on year. The production and sales of three-wheeled were 178,000 units and 177,000 units, down 15.3% and 15.9% year on year.
　　For the first five months, the accumulated production and sales of motorcycles reached 6,893,000 and 6,922,000 units respectively, up 1.9% and 2% from the previous year.
