In July, the motorcycles slightly declined comparing with last month; but kept growth than a year earlier. This month, the production and sales reached 1,428,000 and 1,432,000 units, down 3.3% and 2.7% than that of last month. Comparing with last July, the production and sales were up 10.3% and 9.7%. To be specific, the production and sales of two-wheeled reached 1,272,000 and 1,277,000 units, up 8.2% and 8% year on year. The production and sales of three-wheeled were 156,000 units and 155,000 units, up 32% and 26.9% year on year.
For the first seven months, the accumulated production and sales of motorcycles reached 9,238,000 and 9,202,000 units respectively, down 1.1% and 1.6% from the previous year. The decrease rate continued to narrow.
