In February, the motorcycles witnessed dramatic decline both monthly and yearly. This month, the production and sales reached 918,000 and 961,000 units, down 38.4% and 34.9% than that of last month. Comparing with last February, the production and sales were down 19.6% and 13.8%. To be specific, the production and sales of two-wheeled reached 829,000 and 874,000 units, down 15% and 8.7% year on year. The production and sales of three-wheeled were 90,000 units and 87,000 units, down 46.7% and 44.8% year on year.
For the first two months, the accumulated production and sales of motorcycles reached 2,410,000 and 2,437,000 units respectively, up 1.2% and 0.2% from the previous year.
